One day when I was 27, I walked into a friend’s brother’s woodshop and knew instantly that I was home. Since then, I’ve been designing and building high-quality furniture and cabinets that are durable, practical, environmentally responsible, and made with an understated beauty meant to be used, enjoyed, and fit naturally into their surroundings.
Tables
My intention is to create uniquely conceived, handcrafted furniture and cabinets tailored to each setting, taste, and need, using thoughtful materials and processes that give every piece lasting value. These horizontal surfaces are made to be beautiful, personal, durable, affordable, and current without feeling trendy.
Chairs
If I had to describe my style, I’d say it comes from many places: history, context, the surrounding space, and the people who will live with the piece. I like exploring ideas, whether mine or a client’s, that can bring more character to a space because custom design is really about making style personal.
The Orphans
I’ve learned that custom furniture often means building pieces that don’t fit neatly into a category, title, or quick description. Some are quiet, some become stars because of their uniqueness, and others simply defy an easy label.
The Archives
Most of the work shown here is from the last 10 years or so, along with a few earlier pieces, including student work that doesn’t appear anywhere else. There are also pieces I made and delivered before I had the chance to photograph them, so unfortunately, those are now lost to me.
