this table was developed along with my 'askew table'; it was a commission with a very specific design intent. The styling is simple and restrained but far from easy. The turned and tapered legs were meant to define the piece but also to 'capture' it which is the opposite approach generally taken with tables. Another 'happy' effect of this table is that since it's a triangle, it takes up about half as much space as a rectangular table would at the end of a couch, which means that there's more flow around the end of the couch without sacrificing the utility of having horizontal space within reach.
