a prospective client contacted me looking for a 'simple' end table but with some kind of distinction that would make the design unique for him. I showed him a leg, in 2 iterations, that was shaped in a taper and curving out slightly as it reached the floor. I cut a slight curve in the apron, shaped the top in a curve that was 'sympathetic' to the apron and curved the top edge underneath so it created the illusion of floating on the base. All very simple design details but in combination created a very pleasing product.
