the story

this was one of the first pieces of furniture I ever designed. Inspired by James Krenov, I wanted this piece to be a celebration of wood, joinery, lines and proportion as well as being useful: inside, there's a bank of drawers on one side and shelves on the other.

multi-use furniture

maple, curly maple

42"L x 20"d x 72"h

price: $6,000

  • originally, I designed this piece as a 'tool cabinet'.  Its size and configuration also lent itself to housing electronic components which is what it does now.  It may seem artless, but I am pleased when my furniture has many uses.
