this design is one of those that looks way easier than it was. planning and designing was half the challenge; another major ‘half’ was being sure all the parts fit without the disastrous effect of ‘accumulated tolerances’ (what happens when size creep is multiplied by several components). I have no idea what the clients were going to store in all the cubbies; the only specifics I accommodated were the tv and electronics system.
