I have to admit that I used to cringe whenever someone told me there was a Danish Modern influence in my work. kind of like being told when you’re a teenager that you look or act like your dad. well, both of them are a long time gone now and I don’t mind anymore being told they had an impact upon me. Tage Frid, whose magic was not so much in his design sensibility, though he had a great eye for elegance and style; his gift was in passing on all that he knew about woodworking and furniture design.
