A prospective client in Manhattan contacted me and described his situation: he lives in a studio apartment and was wondering how he could maximize his space. He'd seen pictures of murphy beds, wondered if I'd had any experience with them and whether I could design an enclosure that would maximize his living and storage space as well as look intentional and elegant. Given the space, the budget and arcane details like the building rules, it turned out to be a hefty challenge. The result, though, only bears testimony to the fact that it all worked out.
